Mecanum Wheels

Mecanum wheels, also known as omni-directional wheels, are specialized wheels designed to provide multidirectional movement and maneuverability to vehicles and robots. These unique wheels enable the vehicle or robot to move not only in a straight line but also diagonally and laterally, making them highly versatile for navigation in tight spaces and complex environments.

Mecanum wheels feature a series of small rollers or angled treads mounted around the circumference of the wheel. These rollers or treads are typically set at a 45-degree angle to the wheel's rotational axis.
